Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger was suspended Wednesday for six games for violating the NFL's personal conduct policy, the league announced.

Commissioner Roger Goodell handed down the punishment a week after prosecutors decided not to charge Roethlisberger in a case involving a 20-year-old college student who accused him of sexually assaulting her in a Georgia nightclub in March.

Roethlisberger also was ordered to undergo a comprehensive behavioral evaluation. Goodell will look at Roethlisberger's progress before the season and might consider reducing the suspension to four games.

Roethlisberger is barred from attending any Steelers on-field, offseason activity until he completes the evaluation. He can participate in training camp and preseason games this summer as long as he is cleared by the evaluators and Goodell.

Pittsburgh hosts the Cleveland Browns in its fifth game and travels to Miami to face the Dolphins in its sixth game. The Steelers have a bye in Week 5, meaning Roethlisberger might have two weeks to practice before he plays, if his suspension is reduced.

The Steelers also were ordered to remit a portion of Roethlisberger's salary to the NFL for having two players suspended for violations of the league's personal conduct or drug policies. Wide receiver Santonio Holmes was suspended for four games before being traded to the New York Jets this month.

A second player being suspended requires the offending team to pay the NFL 25 percent of the second player's forfeited salary, with the maximum amount being $200,000.

"As the District Attorney concluded, the extensive investigatory record shows that you contributed to the irresponsible consumption of alcohol by purchasing [or facilitating the purchase of] alcoholic beverages for underage college students, at least some of whom were likely already intoxicated. There is no question that the excessive consumption of alcohol that evening put the students and yourself at risk. The Personal Conduct Policy also states that discipline is appropriate for conduct that 'undermines or puts at risk the integrity and reputation of the NFL, NFL clubs, or NFL players.' By any measure, your conduct satisfies that standard."

He banned the Titans' Adam "Pacman" Jones for one year, and suspended Chicago's Tank Johnson and Cincinnati's Chris Henry eight games each in 2007. Henry died last year of a head injury after falling off the back of a truck.

Last year, Michael Vick was suspended for six games, later shortened to two games, after serving 18 months in jail for his role in a dogfighting ring.

In all, 16 players have been suspended under the conduct policy by Goodell.

On Tuesday, the Steelers traded a seventh-round pick in this week's NFL draft to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for quarterback Byron Leftwich, adding depth to the position in anticipation of the Roethlisberger suspension.

Leftwich's contract has been extended by one year through 2011, a source told ESPN's Chris Mortensen. He will earn $1.8 million in base salary this season and $2 million in 2011.

The NFL and the Steelers were angered and embarrassed by the tawdry details of Roethlisberger's night out March 3.

In a statement to police, the 20-year-old college student said Roethlisberger encouraged her and her friends to take numerous shots of alcohol. Then one of his bodyguards escorted her into a hallway at the Capital City nightclub in Milledgeville, Ga., sat her on a stool and left. She said Roethlisberger walked down the hallway and exposed himself.

"I told him it wasn't OK, no, we don't need to do this and I proceeded to get up and try to leave," she said. "I went to the first door I saw, which happened to be a bathroom."

According to her statement, Roethlisberger then followed her into the bathroom and shut the door.

"I still said no, this is not OK, and he then had sex with me," she wrote.

Two of her friends said they saw a bodyguard lead her into the hallway and then saw Roethlisberger follow. They said they couldn't see their friend but knew she was drunk and were worried about her.

Ann Marie Lubatti told police that she told the bodyguard, "This isn't right. My friend is back there with Ben. She needs to come back right now."

Lubatti said the man -- whom Georgia investigators later identified as Pennsylvania state trooper Ed Joyner -- wouldn't look her in the eye and said he didn't know what she was talking about.

Milledgeville is a central Georgia college town about 30 miles from where the quarterback owns a lake home.

The statements were among hundreds of pages of the case file made public last week by the Georgia Bureau of Investigation.

Last week, Steelers president Rooney said the team would have imposed sanctions on Roethlisberger before, but doing so would have permitted the players' union to appeal any penalties. The suspension imposed by Goodell can be appealed only to him.

It was also announced on Wednesday Joyner can no longer work as a personal assistant to Roethlisberger because of the Georgia incident.

The Pennsylvania State Police said Joyner's outside work exceeded the scope of what was permitted. They also say "he is alleged to have demeaned the image" of the state police.

Joyner got permission from the state police in 2005 to work as Roethlisberger's assistant. State police regulations require troopers to get permission for any outside work for which they'll receive compensation or "consideration."

Joyner did not immediately return a call seeking comment at his barracks in Washington, Pa., where he remains on duty.

Spokeswoman Lt. Myra Taylor said Wednesday she can't "get into the particulars" of what prompted the state police to rescind Joyner's permission to work for Roethlisberger, except to say it was the result of state police brass "reviewing the initial report provided to us by Georgia authorities."

"If what you initially read is troubling, you have an obligation to take action even after that preliminary review," Taylor said.

Roethlisberger, a two-time Super Bowl winner and the highest-paid player in franchise history with a $102 million contract, also is being sued in a civil case by a Nevada hotel employee who has accused him of sexually assaulting her in 2008.

Ben Roethlisberger practiced Monday and Tuesday with the Steelers, but he did not talk with reporters.

Okay lah untuk entry merapu kali ni, aku nak kongsi sikit permerhatiaan aku dalam contest hidup seorang blogger yang baru jer tak sampai seminggu lagi.

Korang sumer dah tahu, antara 3 nama besar search engine, yang terbaik mestilah Google.com. Dan pesaing rapat company ni ialah yahoo dan bing. Tapi berbeza sikit di negara China sebab Search Engine sana dimonopoli oleh baidu.com. Tengok PR pun 9 Woii!!nampak sangat yang baidu ni Google susah nak tembus untuk pasaran China.

Sebenarnya ada berpuluh-puluh Search Engine lagi kat luar sana, tapi aku list kan 3 teratas yang dah conquer dunia Internet ni. Lebih2 lagi Google yang founder2 nya yahudi.hoho.

Pada aku SERP untuk yahoo memang kurang bagus sebab walaupun kat dunia maya ni banyak orang duk cakap pasal Hidup Seorang Blogger, tapi yahoo masih menyenaraikan site social bookmarking untuk berada di first page. Agak2 korang masuk tak site yang terlekat kat social Bookmarking tuh?kalo aku memang tak masuk lah beb, buang masa tunggu loading jer. Pastu belum tentu site tuh betul atau releven. Jadi di sini aku boleh simpulkan yang yahoo suka pada site yang mempunyai keyword density tinggi sebab aku tahu lah blog aku banyak keyword hidup seorang blogger, sebab tuh duk atas kat yahoo tuh.haha. Lagi satu aku tak suka yahoo sebab crawler dorang lambat update result. So sapa yang optimize capat2, kompem senang duk atas. Okay itu saja bebelan aku untuk yahoo, kita tengok pulak bing.

3. Bing.com

Untuk bing pulak, SERP dorang pun lebih kurang macam yahoo jugak lah sebab korang tengok lah sendiri, SERP yang banyak dimonopoli oleh social bookmarking macam digg dan propeller. So agak2, korang suka tak serch engine camni? bagi aku tentu sekali tidak sebab orang nak cari site yang memperkatakan tentang hidup seorang blogger, bukan nya nak masuk site social bookmarking. Ulasan untuk bing boleh aku simpulkan 2 kali 5 dengan yahoo.

So kesimpulan nya aku memang suka Google sebab engineernya lebih bijak menyusun result page dan pastinya maklumat yang aku nak pun dapat. Dengan kata lain untuk nak duk depan, jumlah backlink memang memain peranan penting. Tapi sebenarnya banyak lagi faktor penarik search engine ni. Kalo korang rajin, orang p la tanta pakcik Google tuh sendiri.haha

Itu saja merapu aku petang ni untuk blog kesayangan aku ni yang sekarang dah tukar 100% niche daripada KB Mall Runtuh ke niche Hidup Seorang Blogger.haha

Banyak benda yang terjadi dalam Search Engine Google hari ni yang aku nak kongsi sikit ni. Kalau korang perasan kan, perubahan besar telah berlaku dalam kedudukan buat masa post ni ditulis oleh aku sekarang ni.

Pertamanya site bro denaihati telah jatuh ke Page 3 sejak petang tadi kalo tak silap aku pukul 6 petang lebih. Dan pada pukul 8 lebih pula, site aku telah jatuh ke ranking 3, tapi aku tanya member aku di Australia, site aku masih No 1. Mungkin Datacenter Google pelbagai menyebabkan keputusan SERP yang pelbagai.

Macam post aku sebelum ni, teori2 pakar SEO mengatakan benda ni biasa dan bila sampai satu tahap ni, site bro denaihati akan canak ke depan dengan stabil nya. Ini mungkin kerana Google tengah update backlink pada masa yang sama telah update Algorithm diorang.

Yang kedua aku nak kongsi, Google dah mula perasan Keyword Hidup Seorang Blogger telah banyak diperkatakan dalam alam maya ni. Maksud aku Google dah anggap benda ni sebagai news semacam gitu. Pesanan Terakhir Sebelum Hidup Seorang Blogger Nak Tidur

Entry ni aku tertaip sebelum aku tido dan akan bangun sebelum jumaat nanti. Kan aku dah cakap awal-awal dulu, sebagai pemegang prinsip hidup seorang blogger, nilah jadinya, walaupun aku tinggal di Malaysia, hakikatnya aku pakai waktu di Amerika. hahaha. Betul lah kan, orang pagi2 bangun buat keje, aku pulak pagi2 baru tido mata ngantuk layan SEO.hehe

Hari ni jiwa aku masih bersemangat lagi untuk buat SEO untuk cabaran Hidup Seorang Blogger ni, tak tahu lah lepas ni masuk minggu depan ker, lusa ker, aku dah tak semangat nak melayan SEO ni.haha. Semalam kalo korang perasan site aku jatuh di Page kedua ranking 19 dan ada seketika pegi ke ranking 20. Itu aku anggap normal sebab blog aku ni belum stabil. Hopefully aku optimize awal ni, nanti dekat dengan sebulan, site aku dah stabil SERP nya.

Tentang kejadian semalam iaitu site aku diterajang ke page 2, aku anggap normal sebab benda ni perkara biasa kalo korang push tiba2 backlink. Kiranya Google agak terkejut bila index backlink yang korang buat dan Google perlu ambik masa untuk rank semula blog korang dengan backlink yang baru. Tu lah terjadi bila site baru, confirm benda ni berlaku. Tapi korang jangan pulak kena SandBox Google pulak. Yang parah lagi, jangan pulak kena Penalized beb! aku dah rasa, memang pedih hulu hati bila kena.haha. Cabaran hidup seorang blogger, so kena buat dek jer la bhai. Tapi aku harap sangat untuk keyword Hidup Seorang Blogger ni, Google tak kisah sangat lah even ada banyak site yang di push backlink secara mendadak.

Aku jugak dah mula perasan dan hidu teknik ada beberapa orang peserta lain.hehe. Teknik yang sama yang aku pakai, kalo sapa yang perasan, teknik ni memang sesuai untuk naik kan ranking anda lebih daripada site bro denaihati walaupun site korang backlink sikit daripada site bro denaihati.hehe

Kisah merapu aku hari ni, aku nak cerita lah sikit semalam aku kejap jer dapat bertahan duk nombor 1. Okay lah tuh dapat nikmat Rank 1 sekejap sebelum dirampas balik blog bro denai hati yang sesungguhnya mempunyai backlink Hidup Seorang Blogger yang banyak sekali dari seluruh pelusuk Internet.

Pelakon Lelaki Ditahan Edar Dadah

KUALA LUMPUR: Polis hari ini menahan reman seorang pelakon lelaki yang pernah meraih anugerah pelakon drama terbaik kerana disyaki mengedar dadah jenis syabu dan kokain ketika serbuan di tempat letak kereta sebuah kondominium mewah di Segambut di sini, semalam.

Ketua Jabatan Siasatan Jenayah Narkotik Kuala Lumpur, Asisten Komisioner Kang Chez Chiang berkata, lelaki berusia awal 30-an itu, yang merupakan anak seorang pelakon wanita veteran, ditahan bersama teman wanitanya berumur 24 tahun kira-kira pukul 2.30 petang.

"Susulan dengan tangkapan itu, polis menyerbu rumah lelaki itu di kawasan Kepong dan menemui 850 gram kokain dan 1.4 gram syabu dengan nilai rampasan kira-kira RM650,000," katanya kepada mStar Online di sini, hari ini.

Chez Chiang berkata, hasil siasatan ke atas kedua-dua suspek didapati mereka positif syabu.

"Kami percaya dengan nilai rampasan yang begitu banyak, mereka turut mengedar dadah itu. Bagaimanapun pihak kami akan siasat di mana mereka dapat dadah itu dan di mana mereka jual," katanya.

Katanya, pelakon dan teman wanitanya itu direman selama tujuh hari mulai hari ini.

Kedua-dua suspek ditahan reman selama tujuh hari bermula hari ini dan kes disiasat di bawah Seksyen 39B Akta Dadah Berbahaya 1952.

Jika sabit kesalahan boleh membawa kepada hukuman mati mandatori.

Lelaki, Wanita Ditahan Bantu Siasatan Kereta Menjunam Di KB Mall

KOTA BAHARU, 8 Dis (Bernama) -- Polis menahan seorang lelaki dan seorang wanita bagi membantu siasatan berhubung kejadian sebuah kereta yang menjunam jatuh ke dalam pasar raya KB Mall di sini dua hari lepas yang membunuh dua pelajar kolej kejururawatan.

Ketua Polis Kelantan, Datuk Abdul Rahim Hanafi berkata lelaki berusia 20-an itu di tahan pukul 3 petang Isnin manakala yang perempuan ditahan Isnin malam di rumah masing-masing.

"Kedua-duanya kini direman beberapa hari bagi membantu siasatan yang dibuat mengikut Seksyen 304 Kanun Keseksaan kerana dikaitkan menyebabkan kematian dalam insiden itu," katanya kepada pemberita di pejabatnya di sini, Selasa.

Dalam kejadian pukul 5 petang Ahad lepas, dua pelajar perempuan Kolej Kejururawatan Masterskill cawangan Kota Baharu, Siti Nor Amira Samsuddin, 19, dan Siti Nor Diana Azman, 18, terbunuh akibat dihempap kereta terbabit ketika berada di atas tangga bergerak pasar raya itu.

Dua lagi cedera parah iaitu Rashidah Ahmad Lutfi, 24, juga pelajar kolej yang sama dan pemandu kereta terbabit, Nurul Ain Said, 17, di mana kedua-dua dirawat di Hospital Raja Perempuan Zainab II (HRPZII) di sini.

Kedua-dua lelaki dan wanita yang dipercayai rakan kepada Nurul Ain menghilangkan diri selepas kejadian itu.

Siasatan lanjut kini tertumpu kepada punca dan sebab kejadian.

Semalam Abdul Rahim berkata struktur tembok penghadang kenderaan di tempat letak kereta tingkat tiga bangunan pasaraya KB Mall yang tidak kukuh dipercayai punca kepada kereta yang dipandu Nurul Ain terjunam ke dalam bangunan.

Beliau berkata sekiranya tembok setinggi 1.8 meter itu dibina dengan bata dengan terdapat tetulang besi di dalam, mustahil ia boleh runtuh sebagaimana yang berlaku itu.

Difahamkan lelaki yang ditahan semalam adalah abang angkat kepada Nurul Ain dan kenderaan Ford Laser TX3 itu telah dipinjam oleh abang angkat berkenaan daripada seorang rakannya untuk membawa Nurul Ain dan adik, Nurul Akmal, 14, ke pasar raya itu untuk membeli-belah.

KOTA BHARU: Struktur pasaraya KB Mall di sini disahkan dalam keadaan baik ketika kejadian di mana dua mangsa terkorban dihempap sebuah kereta yang terjatuh daripada parkir di tingkat tiga bangunan itu.

Pengerusi Jawatankuasa Kerajaan Tempatan, Pelancongan dan Kebudayaan, Datuk Takiyuddin Hassan, berkata pengesahan itu diperoleh pada mesyuarat untuk membincangkan kejadian terbabit, yang dihadiri pegawai Majlis Perbandaran Kota Bharu Bandaraya Islam (MPKB-BRI), Jabatan Kerja Raya (JKR), Polis, Bomba dan pengurusan pasar raya berkenaan.

Kerajaan Kelantan kaji semula tahap keselamatan setiap pasar raya

KOTA BHARU: Kerajaan Kelantan akan mengkaji semula tahap keselamatan bangunan di setiap pasaraya di negeri itu susulan kejadian di pasar raya KB Mall petang semalam apabila dua mangsa terkorban dihempap sebuah kereta yang terjatuh daripada tempat letak kereta di tingkat tiga bangunan berkenaan.

Pengerusi Jawatankuasa Kerajaan Tempatan, Pelancongan dan Kebudayaan, Datuk Takiyuddin Hassan, berkata pihaknya akan mengadakan satu mesyuarat khas bagi memperhalusi dan membincangkan mengenai aspek keselamatan di setiap pasar raya.

"Pagi ini Menteri Besar, Datuk Nik Abdul Aziz Nik Mat melawat ke tempat kejadian dan beliau telah mengarahkan pihak Majlis Perbandaran Kota Bharu-Bandaraya Islam (MPKB-BRI) supaya mengadakan mesyuarat segera hari ini.

"Kita akan panggil jabatan berkaitan seperti polis, bomba, Jabatan Kerja Raya (JKR) dan pihak pengurusan pasaraya KB Mall pada mesyuarat itu bagi membincangkan langkah seterusnya selain akan mengkaji semula tahap keselamatan bangunan pasar raya di negeri ini," katanya kepada pemberita selepas melawat tempat kejadian di sini hari ini.

Mangsa yang maut adalah Siti Nor Amira Samsuddin, 19, dan Siti Nor Diana Azman, 18, kedua-duanya dari Kolej Kejururawatan Masterskill Cawangan Kota Baharu manakala dua lagi yang parah iaitu rakan mereka Rashidah Ahmad Lutfi, 24, dan pemandu kereta Ford Laser TX3, Nor Ain Said, 19.

Kejadian berlaku apabila kereta yang dipandu Nor Ain itu rosak dan ditolak rakan beliau yang dikenali sebagai Sabri dan hilang kawalan, merempuh tembok penghadang bumbung pasar raya itu lalu terjunam dan menghempap tiga pelajar berkenaan di tingkat bawah pasar raya berkenaan.

Takiyuddin berkata antara perkara yang akan dibincangkan di dalam mesyuarat terbabit ialah bagi mendapatkan gambaran jelas daripada pihak polis dan bomba bagi mengenal pasti punca kejadian dan langkah segera yang akan diambil oleh pihak pengurusan pasar raya.

"Kita akan bincang dan dapatkan gambaran yang lebih jelas mengenai kejadian itu. Kita percaya polis atau bomba sudah mengenalpasti puncanya melalui siasatan awal," katanya.

Sehingga pagi ini beliau berkata pasar raya itu masih ditutup kepada orang ramai bagaimanapun keputusan untuk membuka atau menutup pasar raya itu akan ditentukan di dalam mesyuarat terbabit.

Sementara itu, Nik Abdul Aziz ketika ditemui selepas melawat tempat kejadian berkata kejadian itu adalah sesuatu yang tidak dijangka dan berlaku di luar dugaan.

"Benda ni berlaku payah nak fikir, semua kuasa Allah, berlaku dinding yang begitu tebal tiba-tiba boleh runtuh, daripada runtuh kena yang di luar dugaan kita dan juga engineer (jurutera) itu sendiri," katanya yang melawat kira-kira setengah jam.

Tinjauan mendapati orang ramai masih berpusu-pusu di luar pasaraya bagi melihat kejadian semalam selain menunggu arahan sama ada pasar raya itu ditutup atau dibuka untuk urus niaga hari ini. - Bernama

KOTA BHARU: Dua penuntut kejururawatan Kolej Masterskill meninggal dunia, manakala seorang rakan mereka cedera parah ditimpa sebuah kereta yang terjunam dari tempat letak kereta di tingkat tiga pusat beli-belah KB Mall, di sini, petang semalam.

Siti Nor Amira Shamsuddin, 19, dari Gua Musang, mati di tempat kejadian, manakala rakannya, Siti Nordiana Azman, 18, dari Wakaf Bharu, Tumpat, meninggal dunia ketika dihantar ke Hospital Raja Perempuan Zainab II (HRPZII). Kedua-dua mangsa yang menuntut di Kampus Metro Masterskill Kota Bharu itu cedera parah di kepala.

Rakan kolej mereka, Rashidah Ahmad Lotfi, 24, dari Jerteh, Terengganu dan pemandu kereta, Nor Ain Said, 19, yang cedera parah pada kepala dirawat di HRPZII. Adik Nor Ain, iaitu, Nor Atikah, 17, yang berada dalam kereta berkenaan tidak cedera, tetapi melarikan diri.

Kejadian jam 5 petang itu berlaku apabila kereta jenis Ford Laser itu merempuh dinding lubang angin di ruang meletak kereta di tingkat tiga lalu terjunam dan menimpa mangsa yang ketika itu berada atas eskalator di tingkat dua.

Ketua Polis daerah Kota Bharu, Asisten Komisioner Zahruddin Abdullah, berkata Siti Nordiana tercampak ke tingkat bawah kompleks akibat ditimpa kereta berkenaan.

Beliau berkata, kejadian dipercayai berlaku ketika seorang lelaki yang dikenali sebagai Sabri menolak kereta yang tidak boleh dihidupkan di ruang meletak kereta di atas bumbung kompleks itu.

“Nor Ain yang memandu kereta mungkin tidak dapat mengawal kenderaan apabila enjin berjaya dihidupkan lalu merempuh dinding lubang angin dan terhumban melalui celah dua eskalator serta terhempap di aras bawah.

“Sebelum terhempap, kereta berkenaan mungkin menimpa tiga pelajar kolej berkenaan yang berada atas eskalator, menyebabkan Siti Nordiana tercampak ke aras bawah. Siasatan awal mendapati Nor Atikah yang tidak cedera berjaya keluar dari kereta dan melarikan diri,” katanya.

Beliau berkata, lelaki yang dikenali sebagai Sabri, dipercayai kenalan mereka turut melarikan diri dan polis sedang mengesan mereka.

Penolong Pengarah Operasi Bomba dan Penyelamat Kelantan, Shahril Yusman Md Yusof, pula berkata siasatan awal mendapati kereta itu jatuh daripada ketinggian 20 meter.

“Kereta terbabit terbabas lalu memasuki siling di aras tiga sebelum terjatuh dan terbalik di celah tangga bergerak di aras bawah,” katanya yang mengetuai enam anggota ke lokasi kejadian.

Seorang saksi, Mohd Jawaidi Moha Zain, 23, berkata ketika kejadian, beliau yang juga Penolong Pengurus Kyros Kebab, yang terletak bersebelahan eskalator sedang melayan pelanggan.

“Tiba-tiba, saya terdengar bunyi dentuman. Saya sangka ada kebakaran di tingkat atas, tetapi amat terkejut apabila sebuah kereta terjatuh dan terbalik di celah tangga bergerak depan premis saya.

Beliau juga mendakwa melihat seorang mangsa yang terbunuh terjatuh sehingga menyebabkan pelbagai barangan peribadinya bertaburan.

Berikutan kejadian itu, semua premis niaga di pusat beli-belah itu ditutup sementara bagi memudahkan kerja menyelamat dan membersihkan kesan kemalangan.

KOTA BARU:Two shoppers were killed after a driver lost control of her car on an upstairs open air parking of a mall, slamming the vehicle into a retaining wall before plunging down three stories.

Another shopper was seriously injured in the freak accident that occurred at 4.45pm when the mall in Jalan Hamzah was packed with weekend patrons.

Nurain Said, who was in the car when it plunged down, miraculously survived the 54-metre fall.

The dead have been identified as trainee nurses Siti Nuramira Shamsuddin, 19, and Siti Nurdiana Azman, 18, from a local college, both of whom died on the spot after being hit by falling debris.

Both Rashidah Ahmad Latif, 18, and Nurain have been admitted to the Raja Perempuan Zainab II Hospital with head injuries.

District OCPD ACP Zahruddin Abdullah said the original driver of the car - identified only as Sabri - had earlier gotten out of the car, which had stalled at the parking area.

He said Sabri then told his 17-year-old sister Nurain to get behind the wheel while he pushed the car in an attempt to jumpstart the engine.

ACP Zahruddin said while Sabri was pushing the car, the engine suddenly came to life, causing the car to lunge forward and smash into the retaining wall, which also served as the building’s ventilation airway.

He said Siti Nuramira, who was on the second floor of the building, and Siti Nurdiana, standing on the ground close to the escalator, could have died after being crushed by concrete debris.

“We are looking for Sabri and another woman identified as Nurul Atikah to assist police in their investigations for reckless driving,” he said.

A witness Hazura Ariffin, 25, said she heard a loud bang that shook the building.

“I thought it was an earthquake at first. I was shocked to see the wrecked car lying in the middle of the mall between the escalators,” she said.

Police had since cordoned off the building and advised all patrons to vacate the building to avoid further casualties.

Crowds waiting outside the mall attracted the curiousity of motorists, causing serious traffic jam along the road. Traffic only resumed to normal two hours later.
